1. How does Text-Link-Trades.com work?

Text-Link-Trades is a free text link exchange service that allows users to share links on related websites.
As a member you place a small ad code on your website which automatically shows various related text links from other members sites.
In exchange for showing other members links on your website you get to upload your text link ad and it will inturn be shown on other members sites.
Members gain credits when a visitor clicks an ad on their website. The current exchange ratio is 10:8 which is one of the highest text exchange ratios on the web.

2. What are some of the benefits of joining?

There are many benefits of joining our exchange with the biggest two being SEO (search engine optimization) and raw traffic.
Our spider friendly ad codes can pass on page rank and other benefits just like you had purchased a link at that site.
Our high exchange ratio ensures you get a fair return of visitors sent.
Too many times exchangeing links direct with other webmasters you won't get a fair return and there's no good way to track performance.

3. Are there any requirements to join?

We do not have any written in stone requirements to join but we do manually review each website submitted to the exchange for quality control.

Some things we do Not want to see (in no order):

- Websites hosted by free providers.
- Subdomains
- Redirects
- Non-english sites
- Heavily religious sites
- Illegal or condoning illegal activites
- Adult content
- Too many ads or lots of pop-ups

Some things we Do want to see (in no order):

- Niche websites
- Websites with a community
- Page rank
- Establishes sites
- Useful information
- High traffic
- Good ad placement

4. Do you offer any bonus credits for new users?

Yes, All approved members receive 5,000 free impressions after they place an ad code on their website and send atleast 100 impressions to the exchange.
These bonus credits are applied to accounts once per day so if you don't see it immediatley don't worry it will be there soon.

5. What different ad sizes do you offer?

We offer 6 different ad sizes so you can easily fit them in to your site where ever you want. You can see a graphical display of all the sizes here.

The ad sizes currently offered are:

- 728x90
- 468x60
- 234x60
- 125x125
- 120x300
- 160x300

Multiple members ads are shown in the larger sizes.

6. Do you have any anti-cheat measures?

We have many anti-cheat and quality control methods.
We track IP's, referal urls, and constantly review sites to keep the quality of the exchange high.

7. What does CPM, CPC, CTR, ROI mean?

CPM means Cost Per Mille or cost per one thousand impressions.
CPC means Cost Per Click.
CTR means Click Through Rate (a ratio of impressions to clicks).
ROI means Return On Investment.

8. Do you allow adult sites?

No, we do not allow adult content at this time.
Adult is defined by what we consider to be adult.

9. Can I buy clicks?

Yes, you can buy our predefined click packages from your account.

We can set a daily cap, time of the day and days of the week to display your ads.
